The other contrast: UVA uses a lot of pitchers


The coaches' rationale may be that they have to. On the flip side, no one pitch is able to just pitch and get in a groove, and fight through troubles. It is a nice thought to have 5 pitchers throw a lot of innings over the season. But it may not be because they don't have an ace. Have they tried to develop an ace by leaving people in.
